Volume II. Fishes	Gilbert, Carter R.	This very detailed work describes the fresh and salt water fish of the Florida region that are in danger of extinction. Detailed distribution maps and detailed descriptions and discussions make this a very unique work.
Fresh and Salt Water Fishes of the World	Migdalski, Edward C.	This is truly a wonderful book. This book gives a survey of the fish families and their most interesting members. The 316 pages contain more than 500 full color illustrations. The material is presented in a taxonomic sequence with references to orders and families.
The Fishes of Missouri	Pflieger, William L.	This detailed and excellent work will enable one to accurately identify the freshwater fish found in the state of Missouri. Some color pictures, numerous line drawings, distribution maps, and supporting text make this a very good book.
Freshwater Fishes of the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware	Rohde, Fred C.	This fine work is illustrated with more than 200 photographs. Distribution maps and textual materials are excellent.
Hawaiian Reef Fish	Mahaney, Casehy	This book contains about 300 excellent color photographs of the common and rare fish found in the vicinity of Hawaii.
Exotic Aquarium Fishes	Innes, WIlliam T.	First published in 1938, and then republished numerous times, this 593 page book gives a good survey of the fresh water aquarium fish. Many black and white pictures are included. There are also some color pictures at the end of the book.
Complete Aquarium - Encyclopedia of Tropical Freshwater Fish	Van Ramshorst, Dr. J.D.	With over 500 color photographs this large format 389 page book gives an excellent introduction to popular freshwater aquarium fish.
Fishes of Utah	Sigler, WIlliam F.	This 375 page work covers in great detail the fish of the state of Utah in North America. (Since Utah is a land locked state, this is about freshwater fish.)
